The registration desk is located at the first floor of the main entrance of the Department (from the stairs in via Campi 103).

The staff will be present at the registration desk throughout the duration of the Congress.

We remind those participants that have to pay a balance for the Congress fees that they will have to do it at the moment of registration. The payment can be made only by cash.



Registration fees include: welcome party, admission to scientific sessions, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, congress kit, abstract book, Proceedings volume. Total fees also include costs of field trips and social dinner (if selected).

Field trips: as field trips will be organized according to a min. and max. number of participants, places will be granted in strict order of registration. Thus we invite you to register in advance to book a place for your favorite field trip/s. In case of cancelled field trips or overbooking, participants will be informed before the payment deadline.

The social dinner will take place in a prestigious ancient Villa in the Modena countryside. The cost is 60 euro per person (including transfer).

How to pay

Participants must pay their fees by bank transfer to Dipartimento di Scienze Chimiche e Geologiche, Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia, after receiving from the Organizing Committee a letter with instructions for payment and the total amount of due fees.

Cancellation and refunds

The registration fee for the Congress will not be refunded except for cancellation and if the notice of cancellation is received before 30 June 2019. The fee will be refunded in part (50%) and will be sent after the congress. After 30 June 2019, no refund will be possible even if the participant does not attend the congress.



The Organizing Committee cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of, or damage to private property of participants, either during or indirectly arising from the congress. Participants are advised to take out their own personal health and travel insurance for their journey and for their participation at field trips.
